We have all got suspicious emails before, and I have wondered how to report them to the right people. This is how.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you receive a suspicious email from Paypal or eBay, forward the message to either spoof@paypal.com or spoof@ebay.com

  2. Step 2

If the message is from any other source, file a compliant at www.ic3.gov

  3. Step 3

Be weary of any email that is suspicious.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always be careful when viewing suspicious messages. And never give personal information online, without being 100% sure it is legitimate.

on 7/17/2009 Dear Internet Users!
Please be aware of frauds from Great Britain (UK)! They pretend to be Yahoo Customer Service, ask for your yahoo PW and infest all your address book recipients with their email signed by your name and asking for the money sent to London. I just had that experience explaining to all my friends that I work at the moment in California, and could not be possibly in London.
