1. Click “Start” and then click on “Control Panel." If you are using an older version of Windows, click “Start," point to “Settings” and then click on “Control Panel."
2. If your “Control Panel” is in “Category View," click the option in the task pane that says “Switch to Classic View."
3. Double-click “Administrative Tools” and then double-click “Computer Management.”
4. In the “Console Tree” click on “Disk Management.”
5. Click “View” on the taskbar, and then click “Settings.”
6. Click on the “Scaling” tab. Under “Display Disks,” select the type of display that you want for disks on the computer system. Click “Apply” and then “OK.”
