If you love all things chocolate, you will definitely want to try Chocolate Cobbler! Delicious served hot with ice cream over the top.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 1 c self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c granulated sugar (separate from above ingredients)
  • 1/4 c cocoa powder (separate from above ingredients)
  • 1 1/2 c boiling water

Step1
Melt the butter in a 9 X 13" cake pan as the oven preheats to 350* F.
Step2
Combine the flour, sugar, pecans, cocoa powder, milk and vanilla. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls over the melted butter in the pan. Do not stir!
Step3
Mix the 1 cup sugar and the 1/4 cup cocoa together, then sprinkle the mixture over the dough in the pan.
Step4
Pour the boiling water over the dough in the pan. Again, do not stir! Pop it into the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 350* F. Serve hot!
