Things You'll Need:
- Large saute pan, 11 - 12 inch.
- 6 Slices of Maple Sugar bacon
- 3 pints of fresh Brussels Sprouts
- 1 Large onion
- 1/4 cup of chicken stock
- 1/8 cup of Aged balsamic Vinegar
- 2 - 3 tablespoons of regular olive oil.

Step 1
Clean and Cut the Brussels SproutsRemove wilted outer leaves from Brussels Sprouts, cut off hard stems. Cut large Brussels Sprouts in half lengthwise, leave smaller ones whole.

Chopped bacon ready for the panRough chop the bacon, not too fine.

Chopped onionFine chop the onion.

Step 4
Heat large skillet over medium heat, with the 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil. Use more oil if needed.

Bacon sizzling in the saute panAdd Bacon to the pan and cook until crisp, about 4 minutes.

Onion and bacon getting happy in the pan togetherAdd chopped Onion, salt and pepper to the pan. Cook 2-3 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

Just added Brussels Sprouts to the panAdd the Brussels Sprouts, Chicken Stock and Balsamic Vinegar to the pan. Add more chicken stock if you don’t think ¼ cup is enough or substitute additional stock with cold water.

Everything cooking togetherStir to combine ingedients, lower flame to medium-low and simmer for
12 - 15 minutes or until the Brussels Sprouts are tender. -
Step 9
Sprouts ready for the tableTransfer cooked sprouts to serving dish.
