Locating something, in this day in age, is just a point and click away...the world is at our fingertips..even nature.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access

Step1
You can follow through with steps 2 - 5, if you'd like, or you can use the related links I included, to save yourself time.
Step2
Open your browser
Step3
Find your search bar (or address bar)
Step4
In the search bar (or address bar) type in Yellow Pages
Step5
If you used the search bar, a list will appear. Pick the top link (Yellow.com or Yellowpages.com) If you used your address bar, the most common used Yellow pages will open. Either way, it should open Yellow Pages.
Step6
For Yellow.com: Under the Business Title, click 'Category'.
Step7
For YellowPages.com: No clicking needed.
Step8
In the white box, place, "Bird Breeders" or whatever it is exactly you're looking for.
Step9
In the next white box, place the state that you're wanting Yellow to find it.
Step10
Next, it will open up a list of different findings. You will have to go through them, and probably narrow down your search, to find exactly what it is you're looking for.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't find what it is you're looking for, exactly, give one of the places on the list, a call and ask them. If they do business in the subject you're looking in, they should have some answers to help you out, and maybe, point you in the right direction.
  • Do a search on Google or other places to find exactly the location of the place, such as in Google Maps.
  • Also do a search on prices..selection via Google Maps. You might find a better selection next door, from the pet shop you were going to go to, and they weren't even listed in the Yellow Pages. (experienced that myself)
  • If you'd like, do a BBB (Better Business Bureau) search to see if they have good standings.
