How to Make a Simple Cucumber Raita

A raita is a simple dipping sauce or can be mixed with Indian dishes such as rice biryanis. This is a simple and quick recipe.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/8 tsp paprika

Step1
Peel and grate the cucumber. You can leave the seeds in if you desire.
Step2
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Chill for 2-3 hours.
Step3
Garnish with extra cilantro. Serve with your favorite Indian dish.
