Not sure where your package went? Here's help navigating the jungle of package delivery in easy steps. You do not have to leave your home or office; all you need is a computer.
Log on to your computer. Check your email program for any pertinent tracking information. There are many different shipping carriers. Click any of the links at the bottom of this article for more information.
Step2
Investigate which company was used to ship your package. Then, log on to their website or click the tracking number found in your email. Often times, it is a clickable link.
Step3
If you desire more information about your package, you will be prompted to create an account with that particular shipper. Fill in the information on the screen as needed and save your username and password for future use. NOTE: You can also save that information in Windows, but do not rely on it solely, as you could login at another computer.
Step4
In the event that you do not have access to a computer, there are toll-free phone numbers you can call to get this information. These will generally be provided by the carrier.
Step5
In the case PayPal was used to create a shipping label, you will receive this information by email. Be advised, your package may not ship on the day the label was created. It could take up to a few days after you received that notice.
Tips & Warnings
Be patient; often packages sit in warehouses for a few days.
If you took advantage of a free shipping offer, these are often the slowest and can take 7-10 days.
For the fastest service, release all packages without a signature confirmation or signature requirement (if it is going to a safe destination where it will not be stolen).
