Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Subscription to Yahoo Music
- Computer
- MP3 player
- Internet Access
Step1
Ensure your music player is compatible with Yahoo Music. There are some that are not. Also it is a good idea to have Windows Media Player installed on your hard drive in case you need to access it.
Step2
Connect your USB cable to your computer and wait for it to install itself, recognize it or insert the CD.
Step3
Once the computer recognizes your device, then open up Yahoo Music Jukebox and wait for it to recognize your device.
Step4
Enter songs in the search box that you wish to add to My Music once inside Yahoo Music Jukebox.
Step5
When you find the songs, click "Add to My Music" or click the plus sign next to the song.
Step6
You can set Yahoo Music to synchronize all new songs automatically, but you may end up with some unwanted songs, especially if you share the service. Or, you can drag and drop the songs (once in Yahoo's My Music) to your media player.
Step7
You can check the download manager tab to see which songs have already downloaded and which are pending. If there is a problem, you can click on it to resolve it. Sometimes songs will have rights issues and you need to update the rights.
Step8
Plug in your MP3 player every once in awhile to update the songs on the player and keep the media licenses current.
