When you are thinking of selling your home, getting it ready to show is called ataging the home. Staging starts with "curb appeal", meaning what does it look like from the curb? If it looks good, buyers are attraced. It is looks bad and messy, buyers are turned off. How you stage starts in the front and goes to the back...so do not treat this stage lightly, for it can make the difference of getting buyers interested or having them reject your home without really even seeing the inside. Be prepared is the key,

Things You’ll Need:

  • A camera to take some photos of your home...then look at the photos and see what you think. Would you take a look at this home, from the photos?
Step1
This needs How to stage a home starts with a willingness to "sharpen the place up". Are you ready to clean up the landscaping, get the yard looking good, and get the crap out from the side of your house that you have been waiting to "take to the dump".
Step2
Start with the front entrance. How does it look when you approach from the street. Can you easily walk up to the house, or do you have to fight through the overgrown shrubs? Can you easily get to the porch and the front door, without stepping over toys, old bikes, and all kinds of other "obstacles" that you just forgot to put away...or throw away.
