Imagine, the kids are away at Grandma's for the entire weekend and you take your wife out for a romantic evening on the town. Alas, the sensual mood is being set for the passionate anticipation that lies ahead. During dinner, you indulge in your favorite vintage that hopefully acts as a lover's aphrodisiac. You look deep into each other's eyes and decide simultaneously to skip dessert because you are both so aware of what that look means. You hurry home, unwary of the speed limit, barely making it through the front door as your clothes are being thrown in a frantic frenzy about the room. She assertively throws you down on the couch. God, you love it when she gets that way! She is definitely ready for your love. But wait, there seems to be a bit of a dilemma....yep, you guessed it, that certain crucial part of your anatomy is NOT responding how it should be. So, now what?
Unavoidably disappointed, she tells you "don't worry, honey, it happens to everyone," and you are left feeling embarrassed and defeated one more time.
We have all experienced the dreaded beast of impotence in one form or another, at some point in our lives. Men certainly can feel ashamed of it and women, while disappointed, are always thinking in the backs of their minds, "is it me?"
While impotence is a physical condition that may require medical treatment, there are some things that you can do to naturally avoid occurrences and ensure optimal sexual health at the same time.
First of all relax. As men age, some may require a longer period of genital stimulation to warm up to the occasion. This does not mean that you are impotent. Give yourself time to get into the mood. Don't rush it. If it takes a few minutes to get an erection, that is ok. Remember, half the fun is getting there.
Step2
There are a whole slew of medications that can cause impotence. If you have never experienced it before and have recently started taking a new prescription, then this could be the root of your problem. According to doctors, there are over 200 drugs that have been identified as potential causes for impotence. Over-the-counter medications are no exception. Be sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist about any medications you are taking and the potential for sexual side effects. Changing the medication or the dosage may be the answer to your prayers, but be sure to do this under medical supervision and not on your own.
Step3
There can be absolute impotence with alcohol and drugs. Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant. It creates a state of inhibition that is the opposite to that of arousal. Not only does chronic alcohol use and abuse impair your liver and other organs, but it can cause an imbalance of sexual hormones that can lead to impotence. Additionally, cocaine, marijuana, heroin, amphetamines, barbiturates and narcotics can all affect your manhood as well. Plus, they are just plain bad for you. The best thing to do is to avoid them completely.
Step4
Cigarette smoking is not only hazardous to your health, but your penis as well! Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, meaning it narrows the blood vessels causing a decrease in blood flow to the prospective tissue. The penis is a vascular organ. To put it simply, an erection occurs due to an influx of blood to the vessels and smooth muscle of the penis. When the vessels are constricted, less blood will be available to fuel your erection. So, the important thing to remember is that nicotine is NOT your friend when it comes to sex!
Step5
Studies have shown that high cholesterol can lead to erectile dysfunction. This makes sense because of the vascular properties of the penis that we talked about above. If your body's vessels become clogged with plaque from cholesterol, then the vessels to your penis may become affected as well. Be sure to follow a low fat, low cholesterol diet if you are having issues in the bedroom. Cholesterol is found in any animal product that you eat, so avoiding eggs, milk, cheese, meat and any other animal products will help keep your cholesterol in check. Following a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables will also help. Be sure to get your cholesterol levels checked periodically by your doctor, as well.
Step6
Caffeine, tea, and energy drinks all have naughty substances in them that can constrict smooth muscle. Remember, constriction of smooth muscle and the blood vessels is NOT good if you want to get in the mood. For an erection to occur, the smooth muscle of the penis must be dilated and stimulants are a no-no that can definitely cause a no-go!
Step7
Women are not the only ones who worry about what they look like naked! Exercise can help by promoting weight loss and improving your body image and self esteem. The better you look, the better you will feel about yourself which will allow you to feel more confident under the sheets. Plus, it will give you a whole lot more sexual energy to burn!
Tips & Warnings
If your condition becomes bothersome, be sure to see your doctor. If natural remedies do not help, then there are prescription medications that can.
Always check with your doctor before embarking on a diet or exercise program.

How do you explain her smoking a cigarette then? I thought nude smoking in bed while next to a nude partner (nudity is suggested anyway) was the universal sign that coitus has recently taken place. This is why it appears to me that she's following shampoo bottle directions and ordering him to "Lather, Rinse, Repeat". :)

The lady in the main photo is smoking a cigarette while he's trying to figure out what to do . . . this must mean she's demanding that poor EDB (Erectile Dysfunction Boy) go a second round! What a sadistic woman! :P
Well I guess I just turned this into a Thematic Apperception Test. Don't judge me too severely ;)
