Make sure the guy is comfortable. He needs to relaxed so that the muscles of his forehead don't wrinkle and affect the line of his eyebrows. Get him to close his eyes so that stray hairs don't fall into them as you trim.

Comb all the eyebrow hairs straight up using the fine tooth comb. Be gentle. You don't want to dig into the guy's face when you're preparing to trim his long hairs after shaping and waxing his eyebrows.

Notice the hairs that are just a little bit longer than the rest. Take the shears and carefully cut those hairs off at the browline. You can also use the comb to hold the hairs as you cut. Follow the natural arch when trimming.

Reposition the hair with the comb. Take a careful look at the guy's eyebrows to make sure they look completely smooth and symmetrical.

Hold the scissors close to the skin to prevent pulling on the man's eyebrow hair and accidentally cutting off more than you should have.
