Card flourishes are those fancy little tricks that are similar to card or deck juggling. Card flourishes can be one-handed or two-handed, but all require practice manipulating the cards. The triple packet cut is one simple card flourish that you can amaze your friends with, and it doesn't require months of practice.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pick up half the deck in your dominant hand. The triple packet cut is just an embellished way to cut the cards by taking the bottom and putting it on the top.

  2. Step 2

Keep your hands together as you leave the lower corner of the bottom section in one hand against the thumb ball in the palm of the non dominant hand.

  3. Step 3

Push you two hands together so the upper far corner of the deck hits the palm of your dominant hand.

  4. Step 4

Lift the cards in your dominant hand at an angle as you hold the bottom of the deck between the two palms of your hands, pushing at alternating corners.

  5. Step 5

Reach out with the thumb and middle finger of the other hand and grab the top half of the cards.

  6. Step 6

Slide the top half of the cards under the bottom group and allow the group that was on the bottom to drop on the top of them by separating your palms slightly.

  7. Step 7

Slide the top half to the bottom as you rotate your hands so the bottom is above them. Separate your hands slightly so they drop. You've completed the triple packet cut.
