1
Gather toilet paper rolls, scissors and green paper. Fold a sheet of green construction paper in half lengthwise. Press the seam down flat and leave the paper folded.
-
2
Turn the paper sideways and cut a slit near the bottom of the page going toward the fold. Do not cut into the fold.
-
-
3
Cut more slits all the way along the length of the folded paper so that you have cut strips of paper from one end to the other.
-
4
Roll the green paper width-wise around your finger or around a pencil until the paper is wound up tightly.
-
5
Place the rolled green paper into the toilet paper roll and push it down part way. Leave the strips hanging out of the toilet paper roll. The strips become the leaves and the roll is the trunk.
-
6
Bend the strips downward so they look like palm tree leaves hanging from the tree.
-
7
Stand the tree on the table and decorate the trunk with stickers. You can add red dots to the green leaves so they look like apples. Glue the tree to brown construction paper so it looks like dirt beneath the tree. Use white for snow.
