Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brown construction paper
  • Red construction paper
  • Orange construction paper
  • Yellow construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker or crayons
  • Wiggly eyes, optional
  1. Step 1

Trace both of you child's feet onto the brown construction paper with the pencil. Use the scissors to cut them out.

  2. Step 2

Make the turkey's head and body by placing the feet face on top of each other so the heels are together and the rest is overlapped a little. Glue them together.

  3. Step 3

Place both of your child's hands on the red construction paper, and trace around them. Cut them out, and repeat with the orange and yellow pieces of construction paper.

  4. Step 4

Glue the hands around the back of the turkey to make the feathers.

  5. Step 5

Draw the turkey's legs and beak on the remaining orange construction paper. Cut them out, and glue onto the turkey.

  6. Step 6

Create eyes with markers, or glue on the wiggly eyes. Turn the turkey over, and write your child's name and age.
