The quadruple cut is a way to impress people with your shuffling skills before you do any magic tricks or other activities involving playing cards. The object of the quadruple cut is to separate the deck into four packs of cards and reshuffle them without the cards ever leaving your hands.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Hold the deck in your right hand as if you are going to deal the cards. You should hold the deck with your index finger on top, the other three fingers grasping one side and the thumb balancing the other.

  2. Step 2

Peel one section of cards with the index finger of your right hand. Peel another section with your middle finger and a third with the thumb. The fourth section is resting in your right hand.

  3. Step 3

Grab the second pack with the middle finger and thumb of your left hand. The middle finger grabs the closest corner and the thumb grabs the middle of the other side.

  4. Step 4

Pull the second pack from between the other two into your left hand. While doing this, roll the third pack onto your left index finger holding the other end by the right thumb.

  5. Step 5

Bring the right hand around and grab the third pack with the middle finger and pinky on each side. The ring finger should be between them on the top edge. Pull this pack out of the left hand.

  6. Step 6

Swivel the third pack away from the first and grab the first with your left middle finger and thumb. The first three packs should now be in different hands from when you first cut them.

  7. Step 7

Close all four packs together to re-form the deck, completing the quadruple cut.

Tips & Warnings
