Instructions
  1. Step 1

Position yourself in the athletic stance. Bend your knees and place the majority of your weight on the balls of your feet. Tuck your elbows in with your hands up near your chin.

  2. Step 2

Combine the jab, cross, hook and uppercut punches. Recover quickly from each punch that you throw before you throw the next one.

  3. Step 3

Execute the jab punch to the face. This is a straight, quick punch with no wind-up.

  4. Step 4

Follow the jab punch with a cross punch. Pull back from the jab punch to regain your strength before you throw out the cross punch. Pivot slightly on your back foot and punch across your body with limited wind-up.

  5. Step 5

Perform the hook punch directly after the cross. Pivot on both feet with a slight wind up. Drop your hand so that your elbow is at a 90-degree angle and punch in to the opponents side about rib height.

  6. Step 6

Finish the punch combination with an uppercut. This is a punch to the opponent's chin. Step into your punch and snap your shoulder up and forward.

Tips & Warnings
  • Monitor your breathing as you combine the punches. If you hold your breath your punches will be weak and you will tire quickly.
