Step 1
Use the aggressive twins defense to block an attacker who is pushing you with both hands. This is an excellent defense to use in both kenpo competition or as self defense when your opponent is larger and more powerful than you.
-
Step 2
Apply an inward block to the aggressor's wrist as he moves in with the push. Lift your right hand with a closed fist and strike his wrist with the side of your forearm to direct his push away from your body. As you block his arm, turn your body slightly to the side, again, diverting the impact and force of his push.
-
Step 3
Lift your right leg and stop kick your attacker in the upper thigh, just above the knee, as he continues to follow through the push. Rotate your weight onto the opposite leg and apply a swinging front kick to your attacker's groin or solar plexus.
-
Step 4
Take the opportunity that you have created to escape from your attacker and call for help. Practice the aggressive twins kenpo move slowly until you perfect each step. Only once you have mastered the move should you begin working on speed.
