Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Foundation
  • Loose or pressed powder
  • Various shades of eye shadow
  • Baby powder
  • Makeup brushes
  • Lip stick
  • Powder rouge
  • Eye liner
  • Fake eye lashes
  1. Step 1

Look through your stash of makeup. Determine the need for additional cosmetics in advance. Purchase cosmetics at drug stores or supermarkets. Find specialty items for Halloween at party supply and costume stores.

  2. Step 2

Begin by applying foundation and powder as usual. Apply lighter shades if you are looking for a pale look. Use baby powder to get a ghostly white shade.

  3. Step 3

Make bruises by applying purple and blue eye shadows with a damp makeup brush. Add bits of black and charcoal with dry fingertips. Smudge green shadow around the edges. Blend it all together with clean fingertips or with a clean cosmetic sponge.

  4. Step 4

Design a clown face by applying bright circles of powder rouge to the cheek areas. Apply rouge with a medium sized stiff powder brush. Line eyes with black liner, make larger than life clown lips with red lipstick, and accentuate eyebrows with liner or brow powder.

  5. Step 5

Make yourself look like a rock star by applying heavy layers of eye shadow to the eye area, dark rouge and bright lipstick. Add fake eye lashes and shimmery powder to complete the look.
