Hacky Sack isn't just for slackers who cut class anymore. There are competitions that now recognize it as a full-fledged sport. Whether you're out to win some prize money or just show off to your friends, you have to learn some cool tricks for your routine.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hacky sack
  1. Step 1

Stall the hacky sack on your foot. Whether you are in the middle of a routine or just practicing this single move, you want to start with the hacky sack "stalled" or lying on your foot. If you have trouble getting it to lie there, raise your toes toward the sky. This will create a crevice between your ankle and the start of your foot where the hacky sack can rest.

  2. Step 2

Flip the hacky sack in the air. You will want to get the hacky sack at least waist high to give yourself time to get in position.

  3. Step 3

Rotate your body so that the back of your knee is in line with the hacky sack as it descends.

  4. Step 4

Catch the hacky sack in the back of your knee by bending your leg. (Try to get your heel pointed up toward the sky to create that cradle in the back of your knee.)

  5. Step 5

Pop the hacky sack out of the back of your knee by extending your leg rapidly. Usually people use this stall to pass to another player in the group. But if you're really quick, you can keep the routine going by stalling the hacky sack on your foot and then go into another move.
