Hacky Sack is a great activity that involves keeping the hacky sack up in the air as many times as possible by bouncing it off your body. In some parts of the country, the sport is recognized and there are competitions. Here's a cool hacky sack move called an arm stall.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hacky sack
  1. Step 1

Bring the hacky sack to rest on your foot. No matter where you are in your routine, you want to settle the hacky sack on your foot by bending your ankle upward. This will create a little crease on the top of your ankle. One trick is to move your leg down with the hacky sack to catch it, rather than moving it up. Moving it up will cause you to kick the hacky sack.

  2. Step 2

Flip the hacky sack up toward your arm. Kick the hacky sack giving it as much vertical lift as possible.

  3. Step 3

Move your arm so that your elbow is directly under the hacky sack.

  4. Step 4

Catch the hacky sack in the crease of your elbow. By bending your elbow slightly, you'll be able to cradle the hacky sack.

  5. Step 5

Pop the hacky sack up by straightening your elbow.

  6. Step 6

Repeat the process of catching the hacky sack in your elbow and popping it up. This is the arm stall, because you are stalling the routine in your arm. Pop the hacky sack out from your elbow and resume your routine by hackying off other parts of your body.

Tips & Warnings
  • Wear shoes that are lightweight and flat. This will allow you to better control the hacky sack. It'd be much tougher to perform tricks with heavy footwear such as boots.
  • A hacky sack is also known as a footbag.
