How to Use Eyeliner Colors for a Dramatic, Glamorous Look

Whether you're heading out for an evening on the town or attending an evening wedding, eyeliner colors, when used correctly, can create a dramatic, glamorous look. Raid your makeup drawer, because you'll need at least two eyeliner colors to create the right effect.

Instructions

1. Use two different eyeliner colors to create a very exotic look. Use the lighter eyeliner color on the inner half of both the upper and lower eyelids. Use the darker eyeliner color on the outer half of both the upper and lower eyelids.

2. Apply black eyeliner on the outside of the lower eyelids. Apply a gray or silver eyeliner color on the inner rim of the lower eyelids. Use dark brown and gold eyeliner colors if you normally wear brown eyeliner.

3. Try shimmery eyeliner products to create additional glam. The shimmery particles reflect light and help your eyes glow.

4. Put blue powdered eyeliner on after applying black eyeliner. This creates a dramatic, but softer, look. Other color combinations in addition to black/blue include black/gray, black/silver, brown/green, and brown/gold.

5. Line both the upper and lower eyelids in a fine line using a lighter eyeliner color. Use a darker eyeliner color to line outside of the lighter color.

• Save your dramatic look for evening occasions. Dramatic, glamorous eyes are usually too intense for daytime.
