Things You'll Need:
- Deck of playing cards
-
Step 1
Remember that using the Cut Deeper Force will force the top card of the deck to be the chosen card. Therefore, you will need to know what that card is.
-
Step 2
Set the deck on a table and ask a spectator to cut a small portion off the deck, flip it over and place it back on top of the deck.
-
Step 3
Ask your spectator to cut the deck further down than you did the first time, flip that pile over and again place it on top of the rest of the deck.
-
Step 4
Pick up the deck and thumb through the cards until you come to the first face down card. Hold this card up so only your spectators can see it. They will think you have not seen this card at all, and you can announce which card it is.
-
Step 1
Play around with this force a few times, because there are some variations to how you can do it. Following is an example of a different way to use the same principle that you used in Section 1.
-
Step 2
Place the deck of cards down and ask a spectator to cut a small portion from the top of the deck, turn it over and place it next to the rest of the deck.
-
Step 3
Instruct your spectator to cut another portion from the original deck and place it face down on the other side of the pile they removed first. Now, the first pile will be in the middle. Ask them to place the middle pile on the original deck and the third pile on top of the first.
-
Step 4
Turn the entire deck over and thumb through the cards until you come to the first face down card, which is again, the force card.
