Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit a professional to remove hair from sensitive areas like the genitals and hard-to-reach places like the back.

  2. Step 2

Arrive at the spa on time. It's better to be a good 15 minutes early so that you can be remove clothes and get prepared for your waxing session.

  3. Step 3

Let the esthetician know exactly where you would like your hair removed. She needs to know the location in order to determine the best type of wax to use to get the smoothest results.

  4. Step 4

Be specific with what you would like. She can't read your mind and it saves her from asking many questions in order to figure out what you would like.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you're too embarrassed to get yourself waxed in a salon, there are estheticians who work from their homes who can do the job.
  • Make sure any area that you would like waxed has at least 1/4 of an inch of hair. Anything shorter than that can't be grabbed by the wax and pulled out.
  • Don't break out into a nervous sweat at the thought of waxing. Waxing doesn't hurt as much as is portrayed in movies, especially if it's done by a qualified professional.
