How to Attend Disneyland's Gay Day

The Magic Kingdom opens its doors for an officially unofficial celebration of gay pride twice a year. Spring brings a one day Mini-Gay Days at Disneyland, while the fall presents an entire three-day weekend of fun and games for people, gay and straight, who embrace diversity.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. Get your official Gay Days T-shirt. Order your bright red shirt from the Gay Days website to identify yourself as part of the Gay Days at Disneyland crowd.
2. Book a room for your stay at Disneyland. Be aware that accomodations typically sell out for this event, so reserve a room well in advance of your planned visit.
3. Prepare for the mixed crowd at Disneyland during Gay Days. Keep in mind that the park is still open to all guests, not just homosexuals.
4. Attend Mini-Gay Day at Disneyland. Go approximately six months prior to the scheduled Gay Days weekend for just one day of celebration at the park.
