Note that informal competitions are usually just for locals, and they follow rules defined by the local club. More formal national competitions follow nationally and internationally recognized regulations and rules. National competitors take their sport more seriously and come to compete from across the country. In most cases, these competitors' scores are compared and ranked nationally and internationally.
