1
Be aware that what you do will affect the people around you. By keeping this in mind, your choice of actions should exclude anything that will negatively impact other people. For example, loud talking and bad language will have a negative effect on the people around you.
-
2
Tolerate the differences of the people around you. Be considerate by not calling attention to differences in a negative way.
-
3
Use basic manners by thanking people who do things for you. Don't take people for granted and be grateful for what they do for you.
-
4
Be punctual for all of your appointments. When you are late, others have to wait for you. Be considerate of other people's time. Most people have busy schedules that can be thrown off if you are not punctual.
-
5
Have empathy. Imagine the feelings of the people you have contact with. If you can empathize with the people around you, you will be able to talk to them in a way that will not hurt their feelings. Always put yourself in the place of your loved ones and others you are in contact with in order to avoid conflicts.
-
6
Anticipate the needs of others. Help them in small ways to show that you know what they need. Considerate people open doors for others, help them to pick up dropped objects and offer refreshments to guests. Ask yourself what you would need in that situation.

very good rules to follow. In a world of psychological and physical isolation...the automobile, the cellular phone, television, the internet...face to face human interactions can seem alien. The less highly developed the consciousness (different from intelligence) the less socialy constructive can be the behavior, and the greater the possibility of conflict. This is a skill...consideration...that needs to be worke on. -
