Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Make loop with the ribbon. The size of the loops depends on the size of the corsage that will sit on top of the bow. For an average-sized corsage, make loops that are about three inches in length.
Step2
Pinch the loop with your thumb and pointer finger. One end of the ribbon is on top, while the other end is on the bottom.
Step3
Continue creating loops that are approximately the same size, until there are 4 total. There are 2 loops on each side, which makes it a 2 face bow.
Step4
Cut 1 short length of the ribbon to serve as decorative ribbon ends with the bow. Cut them off at an angle to keep the ribbon from fraying. The decorative ribbon end piece goes on the bottom of the bow.
Step5
Use very, very thin wire to hold the bow in place. The wire needs to be very thin, no more than 16 gauge. Twist the wire around the center where your finger and thumb were holding the ribbon in place.
Step6
Fluff the bow, making sure the loops are not flat. Adjust them with your fingers until they look perfect. Then use the wire to attach the bow to the flowers.
