A person's homepage says a lot about them and how they use the Internet. Set up a search page and you use the Internet for information retrieval, a specific hobby page or blog shows off your interests. Sometimes though, it shows that you don't know how to change your homepage rather than showing off your pursuits. Changing the page in Internet Explorer is simple.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Open up Internet Explorer.
Step2
Browse to the page that you want to use as your homepage.
Step3
Select the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options." If you're using one of the versions of Internet Explorer that doesn't have a menu bar displayed, you can bring it up by pressing the "Alt" key on your keyboard.
Step4
Find the "General" tab at the top of the options window. The part where you change your homepage is at the top of the tab.
Step5
Press the "Use Current" button. This causes Internet Explorer to copy the address of the page you brought up earlier into the homepage field. Alternately, you can type any web address into this field.
