Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Practice the tight waist arm chop wrestling move with an opponent.

  2. Step 2

    Assume the bottom position if you are the "victim." Kneel down, lean forward and place your palms on the ground. Allow your elbows to bend slightly outward.

  3. Step 3

    Kneel behind the bottom man, with your body slightly angled to the right, if you are the "top man" or attacker.

  4. Step 4

    Place your left hand on the left elbow of the bottom man.

  5. Step 5

    Lean forward, pressing your left cheek against the back of the bottom man and reach your right arm around the bottom man's waist.

  6. Step 6

    Reach for the bottom man's left side and chop at the bottom man's left elbow with your left hand. Make sure you hit with, as Matthew Moyles describes it, the "hard part of your thumb."

  7. Step 7

    Collapse the bottom man's base by chopping at his left elbow and removing that support, and control his body with your left arm, forcing him down to the mat with your body.

  8. Step 8

    Do the tight waist arm chop wrestling move repeatedly. Do it slowly at first, until you get all of the elements down.

  9. Step 9

    Add speed to the tight waist arm chop wrestling move until it looks like one smooth movement instead of several strung together.

  10. Step 10

    Take turns being the bottom man so both you and your opponent are able to do the tight waist arm chop wrestling move. Soon you will find that you will be able to apply the move during wrestling matches.
