Things You'll Need:
- Lip gloss
- Lip brush
-
Step 1
Prepare your lip surface. Use a colorless lip balm or conditioner. This will moisturize and smooth dry spots, rough patches and cracks. Your lip gloss will glide on easily and adhere well.
-
Step 2
Select the right color of lip gloss. For daytime wear, choose a color that is close to your natural lip color. Try clear, nude or light shades of pink, mauve or lavender. Customize your color by mixing several shades in the palm of your hand. At night use darker colors with added shimmer or glitter for a sexy look.
-
Step 3
Locate your lip brush. This is a pencil thin brush with a flat end. The brush shape provides you with good control for even coverage.
-
Step 4
Dab your lip brush into your lip gloss and then onto the center of your upper lip. Use your lip brush to paint the gloss from the center to the outer edges of your lip.
-
Step 5
Apply more lip gloss to the lower lip. Move your lip brush slowly from one corner of the lower lip toward the other to distribute the gloss evenly.
