Step 1
Stand with your feet together, flex the right knee up and keep the foot flexed.
-
Step 2
Kick your right leg out to the side at a 45-degree angle. The right foot is still flexed.
-
Step 3
Bring the right leg down, switch your supporting leg from the left leg to the right and kick the left leg out to a 45-degree angle, again with a flexed foot. This movement is like a Newton pendulum, the right leg comes in and kicks the left leg out.
-
Step 4
Pull the left in with a bent knee then place the foot on the ground slightly behind your hips followed by a small step forward with the right foot. If you're familiar with dancing terminology the last two steps are a ball-change.
-
Step 5
Add a split to the end of the move. As you bring the left foot down instead of a ball-change, drop down into a half split then pop back up to end the move.
