Waxing your arms is easy to do and leaves your arms smooth for up to a month. Your underarms are more sensitive and the direction of hair growth is unpredictable. Underarms may need waxing in more than one direction to get all the hair, but smooth underarms can still be achieved quite easily.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

    Wax Your Arms

  1. Step 1

Use a spatula to spread the heated wax in the direction of the hair growth. Hair on your arms can grow diagonally or straight up and down.

  2. Step 2

Cover the wax with a piece of hair removal cloth and pat it down, in the direction of the hair growth.

  3. Step 3

Pull the cloth up, firmly and quickly, in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Make sure you pull the cloth diagonally if the hair growth is diagonal. If you pull straight up and down all the time, you'll miss hairs and have to wax again.

  4. Step 4

Reuse the hair removal cloth a few times until it no longer picks up hair. Once the cloth stops picking up hair, reapply a layer of wax to the arms and use a new cloth.

  5. Wax Your Underarms

  6. Step 1

Lie down with your arm raised above your head. If this isn't possible, find a position where you can keep your arm raised without bending it.

  7. Step 2

Spread a layer of wax to your underarm. Pull the hair removal cloth up and down when waxing your underarms. Start by spreading the wax on in the direction that's easiest for you.

  8. Step 3

Rub the hair removal cloth onto the wax, in the direction you applied the wax. Firmly and quickly pull the cloth in the opposite direction. Reapply the cloth and pull the cloth in the opposite direction than before, to remove stray underarm hair.
