1
Draw the snout first by making a long u-shape that angles to the right in the center of the paper. Color in a large round nose at the bottom of the u-shape.
-
2
Make an open mouth with a half circle under the right end of the u-shape. Outline a rounded letter "m" on the inside of that half circle wall to add the tongue.
-
-
3
Give the dog two circle eyes that touch with pupils sprouting to the right of the u-shape's top left.
-
4
Curve a line from the top of the left eye up and around including upward waves for muffled fur to form the head. Continue the curve down, out, around and then in to make another u-shape which is the side of his ear.
-
5
Take a short line from the bottom center of the mouth and another from the bottom midpoint of the ear to make a thin neck. Close off the neck with a narrow horizontal rectangle just wider than the neck to allude a collar.
-
6
Start sketching the body with a round line from the left side of the collar to make a belly. Continue a straight line into a short leg with a bulbous foot.
-
7
Keep the pencil moving up the other side to make another leg. Keep the line moving around the hind side of the dog's body back to the right side of the collar.
-
8
Include a v-shaped tail on the dog's hind side. Shadow the leg and foot to give the appearance of another leg and foot behind it.
-
9
Complete with two arms. Mark a thin bent arm in the end of the body. Shape four little "u's" to represent the paw. Compliment the arm by adding a second similar arm sprouting from the outside of the center of the body.
