How to Dance Forward and Back in Disco Steps
Disco dancing was popular in the 1980s and it's back today. Disco lets you move and groove to the beat alone or with a partner. Follow these steps to dance forward and back in disco steps and you'll soon be doing disco dances like the hustle.
Instructions
-
Dance Backward
-
1
Listen to the beat of the music and then count out the steps in your head before you start. Once you feel the beat, you will be able to dance to the music.
-
2
Stand with your feet together. Take one step back with your right foot.
-
-
3
Step back with your left foot so that your left foot is two steps behind where it started or one step behind and beside the right foot. Your feet are not together at this point.
-
4
Take another step back again with your right foot. Then step back with your left and place it next to the right foot so that your two feet are together like they started.
-
5
Add a clap to this when your feet meet together at the end and you are dancing the disco hustle.
Dance Forward
-
6
Dance the same steps in reverse. Take one step forward with your left foot.
-
7
Move your right foot one step ahead of and beside the left foot.
-
8
Take another step forward with your left foot and then again with your right so that your two feet are back together again.
-
9
Add a clap to this dance when your feet meet together at the end and you are dancing the disco hustle.
