If you're learning how to juggle a diabalo, and you've mastered passing the diabolo from hand to hand, you're ready to do the over the foot trick. It isn't a complicated move, but doing it well requires good balance and practice.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Set the diabolo spinning by rolling it on the ground from side to side. Continue to juggle the diabolo back and forth, gradually building up speed until the it's moving very fast.

  2. Step 2

Lift the diabolo up and continue to juggle it from side to side. As the diabolo gets close to the left stick, toss it towards your right, and catch the diabolo close to the right stick. Allow it to continue the natural movement back to the left, and repeat the movement on the other side.

  3. Step 3

Raise your right foot about 10 inches off the ground and push it against the right side of the string near your right hand. With your left hand and left stick, toss the diabolo over your right foot.

  4. Step 4

Catch the diabolo with the right stick, near your right hand.

  5. Step 5

Bring the sticks back together and allow the momentum of the diabolo to keep it swinging back to the other side to repeat the movement with your left foot.

  6. Step 6

End the trick by putting your foot back down. Return the hand-to-hand movement and let the diabolo stop.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you're having trouble with balance while you're learning the over the foot movement, steady yourself by leaning against a wall.
