Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Long balloon
  1. Step 1

Inflate a long balloon so that it is about 1 1/2 feet long, leaving plenty of excess balloon at the end. As you make your balloon animals, squeeze the balloon so that the extra air fills the end, preventing unwanted breaking.

  2. Step 2

Twist a 1-inch bubble into the knotted end to begin your moose. Twist a 2-inch bubble above the small bubble and fold the balloon over. Pinch and twist the balloon at the base of the 2-inch bubble to create another of equal size. Secure it in place by twisting it together with the small bubble.

  3. Step 3

Repeat the same process to create 2 more 2-inch bubbles next to the first 2. You should now be able to see the nose and horns of your balloon moose.

  4. Step 4

Form another 1-inch bubble just below your animal's head to create a neck. Twist a 2-inch bubble below the neck, fold the balloon over and twist at the base of the first bubble to create a second of equal size, making the moose's legs.

  5. Step 5

Leave 1 or 2 inches of space for your moose body and then create 2 back legs in the same manner. You can try to use all of the inflated balloon, making the excess the moose's tail, or leave a small bubble at the end to create a humorous moose tail.
