A good hand massage is extremely relaxing. Such a massage allows for increased blood flow while rejuvenating tired muscles. In addition, a well-timed rub can spark the flames of passion. What follows are some ways to give this healing gift of the hands.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Place your companion's hand in your left (or right) palm with their palm facing up. With your free hand, press down on their palm working your fingers around the entire area with medium pressure.

  2. Step 2

Press your thumb deep into their palm and surrounding area in a clockwise motion. Use the pad of your thumb to penetrate deeply and penetrate thick areas such as the thenar eminence (base of the thumb).

  3. Step 3

Make a fist and place your knuckles into your companion's palm. Press down as you flex and extend your wrist, rolling your knuckles over the palm of your partner's hand.

  4. Step 4

Hold your friend's finger between the pads of your thumb and index finger. Pull each finger (and thumb) gently from the base to the tips.

  5. Step 5

Sandwich one of your companion's hands between your palms and squeeze as you gently pull your hands away. Use lotion or massage oil to decrease friction and create a wonderful sliding sensation.

  6. Step 6

Massage your own hands by holding each finger at the base and rotating them gently in a clockwise then counter clockwise fashion. Then repeat Step 4, pulling each finger until you have worked your way through both hands.
