Tying a Sarong

1. Hold the sarong lengthwise by the ends and bring it around behind your waist. It can be easier to see what you're doing if you stand before a mirror.

2. Wrap the ends of the sarong around your waist, holding onto the upper corners. Tie the two corners into a knot.

3. Position the sarong on your left or right hip to show only one leg through the gap in the fabric, or place the knot below your navel to expose both legs. Sarongs are the perfect accessory for a bathing suit, allowing you to both cover up walking around the beach or pool, while making a fashion statement.

4. Pull the skinny scarf around your waist, placing the ends of the scarf behind you.

5. Tie the ends of the scarf in a knot at the center of your back, letting the longer "tails" of the scarf hang freely. This look works well over a fitted shirt. You can also wear a scarf through belt-loops if you're wearing more casual pants.

6. Thread the skinny scarf (or even a regular scarf, rolled up) through the belt-loops on your pants. A great way to wear this look is by tying the scarf to one side of the body, instead of at the center.
