Things You'll Need:
- King sheet set
-
Step 1
Start with the fitted sheet inside-out. Place your hand in the pocket of one of the corners. (The pocket is the triangular area created when they put elastic in the corners of the fitted sheets)
-
Step 2
Use your free hand to follow the edge of the sheet around until you come to the next corner. Bring the second corner up and hook the pocket on your hand (the fabric will be right-side out). You now have two corners hooked onto your hand.
-
Step 3
Continue to follow the edge of the sheet until you come to the third corner. Bring it up and hook the pocket onto your hand (the fabric will be inside-out). You now have three corners hooked onto your hand.
-
Step 4
Follow the edge of the fabric until you reach the fourth corner and bring it up to hook onto your hand (the fabric will be right-side out). You now have all four corners hanging from your hand.
-
Step 5
Use your free hand to straighten the edges that are hanging down. If you hold out on side, you will see the sheet is now folded into a square that is one-fourth the size of the original sheet.
-
Step 6
Remove your hand from the pocket, and fold the sheet in half twice. The sheet should now be neatly folded and ready to be put away.
-
Step 7
Repeat steps 1 through 6 on the flat sheet. You will need to hold on to the corners of the flat sheet as you fold it.
-
Step 8
Place your two neatly folded sheets into the matching king-size pillow case to keep the set together.

on 3/12/2009 Thank you! Fitted sheets have always been a pain. Now my king sheets look nice and neat on the shelf.

on 7/25/2008 Thanks so much for this! I have been struggling with folding my Cali. King sheets forever, and they always ended up looking like I had wadded them up! And the tip about the pillow case is genius. Why didn't I think of that??
