No one wants to have uncontrollable frizzy hair, yet we are not all blessed with the perfect hair either. There are certain things that you can add into your hair routine in helping tame the frizz from your hair.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
. Here are some helpful tips that I hope you find help you out as much as they help me out.

* Make sure that you trim your hair every six to eight weeks to help reduce the amount of frizz and dryness from your hair. It removes the split ends and prevents them from continuing up the hair shaft.
Step2
* Make sure that you condition your hair on a regular basis. It is much easier to work with well conditioned hair instead of dry hair. So condition every time you shampoo. You can also deep condition your hair once a week with an oil treatment if you desire.

* Leave in conditioners are a great way for taming frizzy hair! They really work great at smoothing out your hair and helping detangle it.
Step3
* Try to not overexpose your hair to the curling iron, blow dryer, straightening iron, etc. These items heat up the hair and dry it out. If you have to use them then try applying a conditioner that helps protect the hair before doing so.

* Never pull or stretch the hair, especially when it is wet.
Step4
* Drink plenty of water. Water is good for your body from the inside out. Drinking water is the best way to remove imperfections from your hair and skin.

* After shampooing hair rinse your hair in the coldest water that you can to help lock in the moisture. Cold water helps close the cuticles and keep your color in so it last longer and will be shiner as well.
Step5
* Try washing your hair only every other day instead of every day. Washing your hair to much strips the natural oils that your hair produces and takes shine away as well as fades any color if you dye your hair. If you have oily hair then try using baby powder to soak up the oils on the days you don't shampoo your hair.

* Try keeping a small bottle of lotion with you all the time and when your hair is frizzy squeeze a small amount into your hands and rub together. Then run your hands down your hair. Next comb your hair so the lotion goes through your hair evenly. This will calm the frizz just make sure that you do not put to much since to much will leave your hair greasy looking.
Step6
* Blow drying your hair or using a flat iron can help to take the frizz away as well. Just make sure that you do not do it to much since it will dry out your hair. Use a special conditioning treatment that helps protect the hair from the heat.

* You could also use very large Velcro rollers and roll each section of hair up in them and then let your hair dry naturally. This is the safest alternative to taking out the frizz rather then the heating devices.
Step7
* You can go to your salon and ask them for a chemical relaxer to help maintain your frizz.

* Try a product that you can buy at any drug store or Target, Walmart, etc that helps control frizz and moisturizes your hair.
Step8
The main thing that I can say to those with frizzy hair is that your hair needs moisture! Your hair is begging you to moisturize it! So try some of the tips above and you should see a difference in the amount of frizz your hair has in it. I hope you can manage your frizz and get gorgeous hair. Good Luck!
