The gym can be a breeding ground for germs and viruses. Make sure to protect yourself before your healthy habit becomes unhealthy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Portable disinfectant (Lysol On-the-Go is a good brand)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Clean water bottles

Step1
When you get on equipment, spray it with a portable disinfectant. You may want to spray the disinfectant onto a towel and then wipe down your equipment so that the air isn't filled with spray.
Step2
Use hand sanitizer after touching equipment that was used by someone who looks sick.
Step3
Make sure your water bottle doesn't make you sick with bacteria growth. Clean it daily with warm bleach water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try not to touch your face during a workout to keep germs and viruses from entering the body.
