Moon Palace resort is an all inclusive vacation resort in the Riviera Maya in Cancun. Away from the rest of the hotel strip, the beaches are not crowded and your fellow vacationers are not the usual Spring Break group. Ready for a break from your everyday life? This is the place to go! A terrific mix of convenience and culture, the Moon Palace resort is a wonderful opportunity for a stress-free holiday.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Travel agent
  • Plane tickets and passport
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera

Step1
Beach at Moon Palace Plan your trip to Moon Palace in Cancun by talking to a travel agency that specializes in Cancun vacations. You can contact one via the Moon Palace website (see references below for the website). Book for 3 to 5 days in order to qualify for some of the free tours.
Step2
Mayan Cooperative Shopping Once you have your vacation booked, begin thinking about what tours you want to take. Although basking on the beach is appealing, take advantage of your trip to see the Yucatan and the Mayan people and culture. You can also do parasailing, snorkeling and various shopping or ruins tours while there.
Step3
Chichen Itza Be sure to book a trip to Chichen Itza! One of the new 7 Wonders of the World, this is a no miss opportunity to learn about the Mayan culture and civilization. Moon Palace offers an air-conditioned bus to and from the park and even stops for some shopping at Mayan cooperatives.
Step4
Play golf? Moon Palace has a beautiful course and you can rent clubs to use so leave yours at home! Be sure to pack a polo shirt for the course though as plain t-shirts are not allowed.
Step5
Want to pamper yourself? You'll get a discount at the Moon Palace spa so take advantage of the opportunity to get a massage or facial.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try a Miami Vice drink while baking in the sun. Delish!
  • Be sure to request an ocean view when you book your room. Every room has a balcony so be sure you have a good view!
  • Be sure to pack at least 1 nice outfit for the formal dining rooms.
