How to Get Your Book In Print for FREE

You wrote a book and you'd love to see it in print, maybe even sell it, but you don't wish to chase after traditional publishing and you can't afford those big prices that POD publishers charge.

There is an alternative!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Word
• A book of your own
• Good photos
• Graphics program or a friend who can use one

1. Write up your book in Word or other similar program.
   You will be publishing it through cafepress.com so check there for any other approved applications they may use.

2. Format your own book according to cafepress rules. They have templates that will instantly fix your book to fit. Super easy!

3. Design a front cover, back cover and spine (if applicable) with a graphics program. Use a high resolution for best printing results. If you don't know how to do this, have a friend do it or hire it done. (yes, I'm available to help for cheap if you don't mind semi-novice results - pros will cost you a small bundle)

4. Upload everything to cafepress.com after you've opened an account with them.

5. Once it all appears to be working right, order a copy for yourself and double check everything on your hard copy. Make changes as needed.

6. Let the world know your book is out there. See my other articles for gaining traffic.
