These adorable little Easter baskets would look perfect on the Easter dinner table, or you can fill them with toiletries and place them in your bathroom. You can fill them with candies for a mini Easter morning treat, too.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White spray paint
  • Peat pots (available in gardening centers)
  • Stickers or paints for designs
  • Mod podge decoupage medium
  • Small nail
  • Silver wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Pencil
  • Paint brush if using paints for designs
  1. Step 1

Spray 2 coats of paint on the inside and outside of the peat pots and let dry.

  2. Step 2

If you need a third coat to cover any remaining spots, paint it now and let it dry.

  3. Step 3

Paste a sticker on the front center of the basket. If you'd rather paint your own design, you can do that too, using acrylic paints and a paint brush. Brush several coats of decoupage medium over the sticker or design and let dry.

  4. Step 4

Use the nail to poke 2 holes on each side of the basket, about 1/2-inch below the basket's rim.

  5. Step 5

Cut a length of wire about 12-inches long. Wind it several times around a pen or pencil, then place the ends of the wire through the holes, and bend up about 1/2-inch on each side to keep the wire in place.

  6. Step 6

Fill your Easter basket with treats or use them as place markers on your Easter dinner table.
