Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- A phone to make an appointment
- A few free hours where your parents won´t try to find you
- A little cash (if you want to make a donation, optional of course)
Step1
Find a local Planned Parenthood in your area. Visit their website http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ to find the center nearest to you.
Step2
Make an appointment.
Step3
Arrive on time to your appointment, these people see tons of women a day so be respectful to their hours of operation.
Step4
During your appointment be completely honest. The doctors are not there to judge but to help. Do not lie about how many sexual partners you´ve had, any past diseases, etc. Lying will only hinder the help they are trying to give you.
Step5
Most times they exams they did on you will take a few hours to a day to get the results. At the end of your appointment they should ask you for a phone number to contact you at if there is a problem with your exam and whether they can say it is Planned Parenthood or if they should use a name such as "Ana". I´d go with the fake name if they are going to call your house! Good luck!
