  • Mozilla Firefox
  • 5 minutes

Step1
The first thing you will want to do is open up the firefox browser. If you dont have the browser it can be downloaded for free at the following address. http://www.Mozilla.com/Firefox
Step2
Navigate to the website http://www.torproject.org/dist/vidalia-bundles/vidalia-bundle-0.2.0.19-alpha-0.0.16.exe and download this install package. It contains Tor, privoxy, Vidalia, and a Torbutton for firefox which allows you to easily switch between anonymous and regular surfing modes. All 4 of these programs work together to keep your info private.
Step3
Run the setup program. After installing the program you will notice the tor button in the bottom right of your firefox window. When it is enabled it will protect you when you dont want to be anonymous click on the tor button and it will disable itself. Hope this helps!

Tips & Warnings

  • This is a great tool for getting around blocked sites. You will be able to visit sites that are normally blocked by using this program.
