Have baby oil or another oily substance on your painted wall? Here is a quick and easy solution.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Clean Rag
  • Un-Do Adhesive Remover or Gasoline
  • Well-ventilated area

Step1
Apply a small amount of Un-Do or gasoline to a clean rag until the rag is moist, but not soaked.
Step2
With a circular motion, gently rub the rag onto the soiled surface. Apply more pressure if the stain is set-in. Continue until stain is gone.
Step3
Allow the area to dry as you may need to repeat the steps to ensure full removal of the oil.

Tips & Warnings

  • Depending on the finish of your paint, the affected area may need to be repainted after the oil is removed. Be sure to begin by testing a small, hidden area of the wall before beginning.
  • PLEASE be careful when using flammable materials. Be sure to open nearby doors and windows and keep children and pets away to decrease the chance of an accident.
