Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Wash the cut with room temperature running water. This is especially important if there is any dirt in the wound.
Step2
Apply hydrogen peroxide to the wound. It will bubble and probably sting at this point, as the peroxide kills any bacteria in the wound. An alternative to this is to use rubbing alcohol. Both of these will sting, so be ready!
Step3
Apply anitbiotic ointment to the wound.
Step4
Wrap the wound with a bandage. Check on it every day and apply more peroxide and ointment. Make sure to put a clean bandage on it every day.

Tips & Warnings

  • This home remedy is for minor cuts and scrapes only! For more serious wounds (such as wounds that bleed profusely or impaled objects) see a doctor.
