How to Say Common Spanish Invitation Phrases

Many people travel to Spain each year. While in Spain, they meet people who only speak Spanish. It is essential to be able say common Spanish invitation phrases while in Spain so that you can invite your new Spanish speaking friends to do things with you.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Ask someone to dinner in Spanish. The way you say this is "¿Quieres cenar juntos esta noche?" Offer a dinner date with "¿Te gustaría ir a cenar?" This means, "Would you like to do to dinner?"

  2. Step 2

    Tell another person, "We can do something together if you like" is said, "Hacemos algo juntos, si quieres." The "h" in Spanish is always silent.

  3. Step 3

    Invite someone to go out with you tonight. Say this simple phrase, "¿Te gustaría salir conmigo esta noche?"

  4. Step 4

    Make someone happy by saying, "I would like to take you out tonight." In Spanish, you would say, "Me gustaría invitarte salir esta noche." Always say this with a smile and your chances of getting a "Yes" will be higher.

  5. Step 5

    Dance the night away with your date by asking, "¿Te gustaría ir a bailar?"

  6. Step 6

    Get the time. It is always good to know what time you will meet. Use the phrase, "¿A qué hora debemos reunirnos?" which means "What time do you want to meet?"

  • No one speaks perfect Spanish. If you attempt to speak the language in Spain, the locals will be very happy and very welcoming.
