Jump and twist at the hips, moving your right leg to the front and your left leg to the back. Keep your shoulders square, moving them as little as possible throughout the exercise. Use your arms to help create a large twist in the waist.

Move slightly to the right as you jump and twist, performing the Ali shuffle washing machine exercise. You may find it helpful to stand on a straight line as a guide for your feet and your shoulders. For example, if you are on a basketball court, you might stand on the outer border, or if you are on a football field, you might use a yard line.
