The Ali shuffle, otherwise known as the washing machine exercise, is a great fitness training exercise for the muscles of the hips and waist. Often used to train football players, particularly running backs, the Ali shuffle washing machine exercise helps to increase flexibility and performance in athletes.   1. Step 1

    Stand with your feet about shoulder length apart, with your shoulders square over your left leg and your right leg straight out behind your.
